Mahmoud Abdel Razek Fadlallah (Arabic: \u0645\u062d\u0645\u0648\u062f \u0639\u0628\u062f \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0627\u0632\u0642 "\u0634\u064a\u0643\u0627\u0628\u0627\u0644\u0627" \u200e ), commonly known as Shikabala) is an Egyptian footballer who currently plays for Saudi Arabia club Al-Raed FC on from loan Zamalek . Growing through the youth ranks of Zamalek, he served the Egyptian club for many years and is considered to be one of the greatest players to play for the club. He previously had a two-year stint with PAOK. He predominantly plays as a right-winger but can play as a central attacking midfielder and as a left winger.
Shikabala has never been a vital part of the national team. He was part of Egypt's squad in the 2010 African Cup of Nations featuring only in one match as Egypt ended up as winners for the 7th time and 3rd in a row. On 8 August 2012 he was called up by Bob Bradley for the friendly matches against Brazil, Benin and Cameroon. He decided to resign from international football in 2010, citing racist insults that he has endured in the Egyptian context (from Al Ahly fans) and that he did not want to confront in an international one.
