Following his release from Dundee United, Jim McIntyre joined Dunfermline . In April 2006 United player-manager Craig Brewster told a group of his more experienced and highly-paid players, including the former Reading and Kilmarnock striker, that their services would no longer be required. The 34 year-old joined Dunfermline on a two year deal. An experienced striker, Jim can also play in left midfield.
