Hamdi Kasraoui is one of the most talented goalkeepers Tunisia has ever seen. The 23-year-old is often compared to the legendary Chokri El Ouaer, which is quite a compliment. However, Kasraoui rarely gets the chance to showcase his ability. In the national team he plays second fiddle to veteran Ali Boumnijel, and at his club, Esperance ST, he is understudy to Ivory Coast international Jean-Jacques Tizie. Kasraoui played at the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2006 African Cup of Nations.
